Paul Smallwood is Senior Executive Vice President of Cejka Search, a nationally recognized physician, allied health and therapy, and health care executive search firm providing services exclusively to the health care industry for more than 30 years.   

As a member of Cejka Search's Senior Leadership Team, he is responsible for leading and implementing strategies vital to successful search activity.  He brings extensive health care and search experience to the organization, including recruitment, search consulting, marketing, sales and relationship management. 

Paul joined Cejka Search in 1990.  As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Paul’s problem-solving and negotiation skills, coupled with an ability to accurately assess the needs of clients and candidates, have made him an integral part of countless successful partnerships with clients and a valued mentor within the organization.

Prior to his career with Cejka Search, Paul was Director of Sales and Marketing with a biotech/life science firm that manufactures and delivers immunoassay diagnostic kits for diabetic research. Paul’s responsibilities included product development, marketing, business planning and sales.

Paul attended Southeast Missouri State University, where he played varsity soccer and studied Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
